Happy Pi Day! March 14, or 3/14 as Americans write it, is a day to celebrate all things mathematical. For Pi Day this year I designed a LEGO clock face using the first 12 digits of pi instead of 1-12.

Instructions for Christmas Build-Up Models
Throughout the first 24 days of December I had been posting about the Advent Calendar and Christmas Build-Up models. Each day I designed and built a MOC (My Own Creation) using the parts leftover after building each day’s Christmas Build-Up model, and while some of them are holiday themed, most were not. Brickvention 2017
After the flurry of activity on my blog in December for the Advent Calendars you may have wondered why I disappeared… well the reason was I took a vacation to Australia right after Christmas!
I spent New Year’s in Sydney, did lots of sightseeing, and ended up at Brickvention in Melbourne. I’ll be posting the travel photos soon on a new travel blog I’m going to be starting, and will post a link to it here when it is live so you can check those out if you want. Advent 2016 Day 24
Merry Christmas! It’s December 24th, the last day of the Advent Calendars, and Christmas Eve. Our final entries are Santa Claus (City), a baby polar bear stalking a fish (Friends), and Snowbacca (Star Wars). The final model from Christmas Build-Up is also Santa Claus, with an assortment of gifts. I built a sleigh and Rudolph with the leftover parts.
Advent 2016 Day 23
Day 23 of the Advent calendars – just one more to go – gives us two sleighs (City and Star Wars) and a snowman (Friends). For Christmas Build Up, I realized today I screwed up a week ago and each model since the 14th has been off by one day! So today I made up for it by building Day 14, and then used leftovers to build a MOC of a kid on a sled.

My latest LEGO creation is a grey kangaroo with joey.
Advent 2016 Day 22
Today is Day 22 and we get a dog and its feed trough (City), a table (City), an Imperial Shuttle (Star Wars), and a snowman (Build-Up). With the leftover parts I built a green lizard.
Advent 2016 Day 21
Happy Winter Solstice everyone! Day 21 gives us a Christmas Tree (City), something weird (Friends), a stormtrooper (Star Wars), and two little birds (Christmas Build Up). I built a larger bird with the leftover parts.
Advent 2016 Day 20
Day 20 is here already! Today we get gifts from City, a BBQ from Friends, a speeder bike from Star Wars, and a sleighload of gifts from Christmas Build Up. I used leftover parts to build a little black kitten.
