I’ve recently been trying to up my social media game, and want to post an update and reminder. I’ve started being a bit more active on Instagram and Twitter, and I’ve been posting on my Facebook page for a while now, but if you’re not following those then now’s a good time to start.
Facebook Page: Bill Ward’s Brickpile
And here’s my latest model, a pair of Micropolis houses, which I also just posted to Instagram.
Thanks to Little Brick Root’s Four Months of Houses project for the inspiration. For more information or to build your own Micropolis, check out the Micropolis standard from TwinLUG, and info about the arches for wiring that BayLUG members use in our Micropolis modules.
I’ve set up a Facebook Page for BBTB, so if you’re more into Facebook than blog reading these days, you can find me on there. I’ve started sharing my blog posts on Facebook and also a few other LEGO-related things I come across. Go check it out and Like, comment, share, etc. if you enjoy what you see.
Bricks by the Bay now has an event on Facebook. Please RSVP there if you’re a Facebook user, and join our Facebook group. (If you want to be my Facebook friend, visit my public profile.)
We created a group a while ago, but I had to wait until May 1st to create the event since Facebook doesn’t have a “year” field for events – 12 months is the limit. In other words, the convention is less than a year away!
Bricks by the Bay is also on Twitter, so follow us there. We also have mailing list for announcements as well as people helping with planning at our site, bricksbythebay.com.
I finally joined Facebook. If you want to add me, here’s my public search page.
