Day 8 of the LEGO City and Star Wars Advent Calendars for 2011.
City provides us with a bed and nightstand. Easily the lamest entry so far in either calendar. At least we get an extra mug.
Star Wars has a Rebel pilot – just the bare minifig, without any accessories. The orange visor is printed on his head, which limits that part’s usefulness, but then it’s a “flesh” colored head and I only use yellow ones in my models anyway. From my point of view, this is a pretty lame entry as well.
Accumulated items since the current story arcs started on day 6:
Since you don’t use the Fleshheads in your models, would you sell some to me or trade them for yellow heads?

I have mixed feelings about this idea. As a rule I don’t like to trade or sell parts from my core collection, under the theory that I might someday want to rebuild the set they came from. Though I never do that, it feels wrong to eliminate the option. But even if I don’t do that, I could see wanting to at least reassemble the minifigs from the sets. So no, I don’t think I want to do that.
