BayLUG Meeting October 8, 2022

BayLUG, the Bay Area LEGO Users’ Group, had its second in-person, indoor club meeting since the pandemic started on October 8th in San Leandro. I was anxious about the in-person meeting, but I went anyway, and even took my N95 mask off to eat once or twice. We had a Halloween themed contest and lots of people brought models to show. My photos from the meeting can be seen here or on Flickr (click any photo to go to the album).

BayLUG January 2010 Meeting at Dave Porter’s house

He has been inviting the club up to his house every January for the past few years to share his layout and give us a chance to show off what we’ve been up to. Marcello de Cicco brought his Japanese Navy ships to show off, and Brian Thiemer and his wife brought their newest MOC, a baby, to the meeting!

About a half-dozen members showed up at the Museum of American Heritage (MoAH) in Palo Alto and set up an assortment of models that we’re bringing to Maker Faire next weekend.
